We are delighted to confirm the GWG Summer Cruise, Geneva to Morges, Sunday September 4, part of the festival, Le Livre sur les Quais, Sept. 2-4, 2016. The cruise is beautiful and the program is excellent! We have the same large ship as last summer, “Lausanne”. The cost is only 20chf and includes coffee and croissant. There is the possibility to board at Nyon. Here are the details.
From Geneva to Morges, boarding “Lausanne” on the Quai du Mont Blanc, from 8:45. Boat leaves at 9:20.
--The first part of the program (from Geneva to Nyon) features GWG authors who published this last year (Sept. 2015 to Sept. 2016) and who did not read on the boat in 2015. Elizabeth Coleman will introduce the readers.
--Coffee and croissants will be served.
--Cost 20chf (to be paid at the pier at boarding time)
--Arrival at Nyon, 11:05; Morges, 12:30
From Nyon to Morges, boarding at 11:05, leaving at 11:10.
--The second part of the program features a conversation about The Art of the Short Story, with Helen Simpson and Petina Gappah, introduced by Jenny Bew Orr.
--Cost 15chf (to be paid at the pier at boarding time)
There will be book signings before the arrival at Nyon, and before the arrival at Morges.
