Offshoots is the biennial show case of the Geneva Writers Group.
The Offshoots 12 theme is Reflections.

GUIDELINES
Qualifications:
The writer must be a current member of the Geneva Writers Group. Writers are encouraged to take advantage of the Saturday afternoon critiquing sessions offered by GWG as well as small group critiques.
Submissions:
The editorial committee will read submissions anonymously.
Previously published work will be accepted if the writer owns copyright; credit will be given. Submissions must be in English.
Categories include fiction (short stories or flash fiction), creative non-fiction (essays, memoir, interviews, travel) and poetry. Writers may submit up to two pieces of prose or poetry, with a maximum total of 1,500 words. Poems can not exceed 50 lines. Copyright reverts to the author after publication.
Submission Deadline is January 28, 2013 at midnight. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Submit as a word attachment. Only files with .doc suffix will be accepted. Please no .docx .

Use 12 pt Times New Roman, at 1.5 spacing.
Type your name, title of work, contact details and word count in the body of the email message only. Do not put your name on the Word file.
Acknowledgement of reception will be sent by email within 5 days. If you have not received acknowledgement, please resend. Final results will be emailed in March.
Alternatively, (only if you don’t have email access please) send three copies of your typed submission on A4 paper — without your name on them. Include a cover page with name, title of work, contact details and word count, postmarked no later than January 28, 2013 to:
